Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is a synthetic anti-aging cosmetic peptide derived from natural proteins. This peptide has been attributed to decreasing wrinkle formation by binding to the SNARE-receptor thus blocking the production of neurotransmitter which then reduces facial muscle contraction. Acetyl hexapeptide-3, otherwise known as argireline, effectively reduces the depth of wrinkles, especially around the forehead and eyes, caused by the repeated contraction of facial muscles.
Function
1. Reduces existing facial wrinkles.
2. Effective against the development of new wrinkles.
3. Decreases the depth of facial wrinkles caused by the contraction of muscles from facial expressions, especially near the eyes and on the forehead.
